• Lab 111: Alternative cinema. Good choice of movies, blockbusters and indie, not the boring kind. There is also a good restaurant in the building, Dr. Strangelove

Alternative bars

• Soundgarden: Old school alternative, big, outdoor patio by the canal.

• Checkpoint Charlie: medium size, boardgames, fun interior

•The minds: Decades old dive bar where Nirvana used to hang out and QOTSA, among other legends. Get’s more fun late.

• The Cave: small metalbar with live music.
